We rented a convertible and headed to the hotel. We checked into “Kauai Marriott Beach Resort” Our first room had a leak from the air conditioning so the front desk sent us down to the pool bar for a free drink while they got us another room. The Pina’ Colodas are the best here! Our room is a villa; it’s really large with a separate master bedroom and a kitchen area. It’s really nice. We have an ocean view. I haven’t written in this journal until today Friday morning and I’m sitting on the deck looking out at the ocean and hearing the tropical birds. Oh and the roosters too! We went to K-mart for sunscreen and other stuff like we always do. We came back and walked along the shoreline of the hotel and went to “Dukes” for dinner. We sat next to a koi pond. We walked back to the hotel and sat in the outside lobby by the pool for a while it was very humid but beautiful listening to the Hawaiian music!
